Ana Paula García Benavides (b.1996, Monterrey México) is a London based artist.
I believe art is not only a means of expression, but a portal back to oneself. I paint to remember and to remind others that beneath the mind, the noise, and the masks, there is a deeper, more truthful voice.
Each work becomes a bridge, an invitation to turn inward. A space where emotions can be breathed without judgment, where the unspoken takes form, and where the invisible becomes texture, color, and body.
I do not seek to teach, but to open and awaken. To quietly accompany that intimate moment when someone encounters themselves before an image. My art is not an answer; it is a mirror, a vessel, a ritual.
For me, this is the power of art: to touch the to reveal who we are when no one is watching, and when we finally dare to see ourselves.
